Sleeping In Space

Ever wondered how Astronauts sleep in space? Well this explanation will show you

Sleeping in space could be difficult, with your arms and head floating above your body you would think to be uncomputable well it doesn't feel as uncomfortable as it sounds.

With zero gravity, Astronauts bodies would be relaxed in any position. Standing or laying, upside down or on your side you will still be relaxed as your body muscles are  not tensed to hold all of  your body weight. If they were using the mussels they would only be standing or lying down to get comfy but you can't stand in space without floating.

Sleeping in space would be a hard task as you might not know what time it is as it is always dark,unless you have a watch. You would have to set a timer for 12 hours + to be doing your tasks. Most of the Astronauts sleep for 7 to 8 hours in order for them to be refreshed and ready to do all their tasks.

Then after you wake up you have to brush your teeth. To brush your teeth is like brushing them on Earth but there is one thing different. They brush their teeth for as long as happy birthday goes to save some of their water. Then when you finish you have to swallow your toothpaste. It may seem digesting but it won't kill you.

Then it's time to get up and do all your everyday tasks such as… eating,exercising,floating and much more.

I picked a book set in the future. Its called a Christmas Carol.


This book is about, Marley died. His funeral brings (the writer no name) to the point where he started from, Sadness. It was not convinced that Hamlets father had died before his play had began, But there  was nobody to tell how long he had been dead for before the play. They thing he could of died from exhaustion  after taking a stroll in the night.


( have not finished the book but this is some of my summary from the first 4 pages)

This book is about Greg Heffley and he has recently had his best friend ditch him for a girl he likes. So finding new friends was a hard task because everyone knew what he was like. After Rowley has lost his girlfriend he comes back to Greg and make up friends again.

I picked to read Woman in The Wilderness Chapter 4.

They move to a new hut and they get visitors for 3 days and they shoot a deer and leave it for the people camping in the hut. Then they walk out the mountains to their friend Mouse's house after hitchhiking to there house after finding a road.

This is the Novel i picked for my Reading Challenge box.

Charlottes Web.

Charlottes Web is a Novel about a girl named Fern and a pig named Wilbur. When Wilbur was born he was the runt and really weak. When Fern found out she wanted to help him to grow up. Her dad walks in and dumps a box on the table and thats when Fern met Wilbur. She took care of him every morning before she went of to school and her mum gave him a bottle of milk while Fern was at school. Then as so as she gets home from school she rushes to the door and get Wilburs bottle warmed and ready for him to skull down like the pig he is. Then when Wilbur is all grow he goes to Ferns uncles house to live as he is too big for his own shed. Everyday Fern would visit him in his pen at her uncles. One day Fern never came and Wilbur started to get loonier and loonier as she never comes to visit anymore.

Kea has a (snow) ball.
The Kea was at it again playing in the fresh snow near Otira. A shuttle drove past to see a Kea playing in the snow pushing a growing ball of snow down the side of the road. Half way down the road after the settle had passed they released it was a young Kea playing in the snow. I think it did not know what it would be as he could be still quite young

The book that my parents used to read is James and the giant peach.




James and the giant peach is about a little boy called James and he lives with his two horrible aunts after his parents die. He meets a man and he gives him magical bugs. He spills the bag and a bug goes onto the peach tree and the peach grows really big and James shows his aunts and they turn it into a attraction and they get money from the people that pay to see it. James eats a hole into the peach and finds a bunch of bugs in there.

Woman in the wilderness.

Miriam is a young Dutch woman living in the middle of the southern alps with her husband. She lives in a tent or hut, and survives by hunting wild animals and foraging edible plants, relying on only minimal supplies that they had brought with them and from their good friend Mouse. For the last six years they has lived this way, through all seasons, often cold, hungry and isolated in the bush. Miriam loves her life and feels free and happy living in the bush.


Also This book has 336 pages (that's 2 items from my reading challenge completed)


Also this book was set in the past because she spent 6 years in the bush. (3 items)
